the world is desperately trying to look the real thing
technology make us believe smth that isnt, actually is
the animation in movies
the perfections in adverts
they are the ultimate deceptions

people are not who they show themselves to be
with their own mouths, they speak one
and with their hands, they turn around, and do another
with the mind, they too think yet another
yes talk is cheap
so cheap

who teaches these?
no one.
the entire human race is born in sin
and yes, some dont even know why they do
why they take the trouble to fit on different masks everyday, every moment
and they'll stay the way they do
because they have
no hope
no security
no assurance

but as christians shldnt we differ?
though its tough to put away the old nature
we have the strength of God!
the much repeated verse from YC reminds
draw near to God and he will draw near to you!

one thing the Lord hates; hypocrisy,
when christians are inconsistent.
hypocrisy - deception of reality

"...these people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.."
matthew 15:7-9

"..first clean the inside of the cup and dish,
and then the outside will also be clean.."
matthew 23:25-26

demonstrate to the world the real thing!
the genuine faith
the genuine love
the genuine praise

and not only to the world
to your brothers and sisters in christ
your loved ones

and i know,
i def. know its tough
