"But Naaman went away angry and said,
'I thought that he would surely come out to me
and stand and call on the nam
e of the LORD his God,
wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy'"
-2 Kings 5:11-12

when Elisha told Naaman
the BIG SHOT General to
"Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan..."
it seemed ridiculous to him

Naaman expected God
to perform his miracle
through Elisha
in a dramatic and WHOA way.
he must have thought:
huh i must still go all the way to wash myself ah

Do you draw a parallel to him?
I do,
sometimes we fail to recognize
that God can work through
a simple act of obedience.
-God told Joshua to
walk around Jericho
seven times to win the battle.
-He told a man to put mud
on his eyes to be healed.

there are other times
God uses the very simple things
to receive a breakthrough.
maybe its just the way we do it,
its simply not the right way.

as obedience is better than sacrifice
try listening out for God
i feel its really tough
but thats the only way to be able to obey
and following His instruction
is an impt key

sometimes God chooses the dramatic
and sometimes He chooses the ordinary.

sometimes God chooses the weak
and sometimes He chooses the strong.

Above all,
both ARE miracles because God is the God over all creation
and we marvel at it.
